Golden Goose Released

My second app for the Windows Phone has just been released – Golden Goose. Much like my first app, Zen Mobile Manager, it provides a handy way to interface with a hosted service. Whereas Zen Mobile Manager is targeted to small business orders who need to see their online store’s sales and customer lists anytime, anywhere, Golden Goose connects to Beanstalk – a hosted SVN/GIT source control service. I’ve been using Beanstalk for almost 2 years now and found their service to be reliable and fast – the ability to get at my source code whether at the office, at home, or on the road without hassle has been worth its weight in gold. Even with the most basic account (which is actually the one I use) it comes with a few user accounts and a good enough selection of servies that I rarely find myself bumping up against the upgrade wall.

If you’re looking for a simple, easy-to-use, SVN host for your code give Beanstalk a try – and if you stick with them then you should pick up a copy of Golden Goose so that you know what’s going on with your code no matter where you are.
